97 Student Preachers going to 36 States plus Canada for 5 Nights of Revival: March 9-12
Imagine doing for the first time what you know you were born to do.
Many college and seminary students come to Southwestern with a call to preach, but without an opportunity to preach. Each spring break we send out revival preachers all across North America. Many we send are seasoned preachers. For others, however, this is the first merger of their call and an opportunity to follow that call.
The results are glorious.
Spending the week with a local church, the student understands the real world pastors live in, and they gain a greater love for the local church. Most RTN churches are far outside the Bible Belt, allowing our students, many from the South and Southwest, an opportunity to see ministry in a new and challenging context.
And, most importantly, each year, God’s favor seems to be on these meetings. People who had the wrath of God on them will find mercy. People who were in darkness will be in light. People lost will be saved. It is glorious indeed.
